Attorney Michael P. Friedman Named to Judicial Selection Committee

Rudman Winchell attorney Michael P. Friedman has been selected to serve on Governor Paul Lepage’s Judicial Selection Committee. This committee reviews applications and interviews the applicants for all State judicial positions and makes its recommendations to the Governor, who will make the ultimate choice.

Attorney Friedman previously received an appointment by Governor Baldacci to the Maine Ethics Commission in 2006.

Michael P. Friedman is a native of Old Town, Maine. He is a graduate of the University of Maine and Northeastern University School of Law.

Prior to his association with Rudman Winchell, Mike worked in the legal departments of Kemper Insurance Group in Chicago and Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in Boston, and as a legal advisor to the United States Civil Service Commission in Washington, DC.

Mike is a past member of the Maine Workers’ Compensation Commission Advisory Group.
