Rudman Winchell Attorney Anne-Marie Storey Named to the Bangor YMCA Board of Directors

By Rudman Winchell Attorney

Rudman Winchell Attorney and Partner Anne-Marie Storey is proud to be joining the Bangor YMCA’s Board of Directors.

Mike Seile, CEO of the Bangor YMCA, recently notified Anne-Marie that she was selected to join the board  “unanimously and with excitement” by current board members at the September meeting.

“I am so pleased to be joining this important foundation of our community, particularly now that our daughter is almost old enough to be involved in some of the programs,” says Anne-Marie.  “Being a part of this Board is especially meaningful to me now to commemorate my mother and all that the YMCA meant to her.”

Anne-Marie’s term will begin in January 2013.

She is currently the President of the Maine State Bar Association and is a member of the Maine Supreme Judicial Court’s Advisory Committee on Maine Rules of Evidence.

Anne-Marie is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Bangor Humane Society and the Maine Discovery Museum. She has served as Chairperson of the Maine Middlebury Alumni Association and as a member of the Bangor Historic Preservation Commission.

She lives in Winterport with her husband, John Hamer, daughter Zoey, and their St. Bernard, Madeline.
