Rudman Winchell’s workers’ compensation attorneys represent a broad range of insurance carriers, individual self-insured employers, and self-insured employer coalitions. Our workers’ compensation lawyers have decades of experience appearing before the Workers’ Compensation Board and its predecessors, the Workers’ Compensation Commission and the Industrial Accident Board.

We have strong working relationships with mediators, hearing officers, and clients throughout the state. Our workers’ compensation attorneys provide employers with initial claim evaluations, detailed report letters after each mediation, conference, or hearing, and with ongoing case updates, evaluations, and reviews. We work cooperatively with employers and claims administrators as much as possible in the evaluation, management, and defense of each case.

We appear before the Maine Workers’ Compensation Appellate Division, representing our clients on appeals of important legal issues. We also actively promote client education through claims consulting and educational presentations. We are consistently asked to present at the premiere workers’ compensation education event in the state, the Workers’ Compensation Summit, held each fall, and we provide education sessions for clients on up-to-date statutes, rule changes, and important decisions. We pride ourselves in providing cost-effective, competent, and responsive services to our Workers’ Compensation clients.

In addition, Rudman Winchell’s workers’ compensation attorneys are experienced in general labor and employment law, enabling us to represent clients in a broad spectrum of issues. We can recognize and avoid potential claims in other employment-related areas.
