Anne-Marie Storey to be part of Maine Biz Women’s Forum

Mainebiz Women’s Forum slated for USM campus
The Mainebiz Women’s Leadership Forum will be held Thursday, April 6, from 7:30-10:30 a.m., at the Abromson Center, at 88 Bedford St. on the campus of the University of Southern Maine in Portland. The topic is “The gender wage gap: Why is this still a thing?”
Panelists will be Anne-Marie L. Storey, an employment lawyer at Rudman Winchell; Barbara Babkirk, master career counselor and principal at Heart At Work Associates; Dawn Harmon, director and shareholder at Perkins Thompson; and Joan Fortin, director of attorney recruiting at Bernstein Shur.
Other speakers will be Karen Dobbyn, a consultant at KMA HR Consulting; Jean Hoffman, founder and former president and CEO of the animal pharmaceutical company Putney, which was sold for $200 million in April 2016; Christina McAnuff, executive director of the Olympia Snowe Women’s Leadership Institute; and Eliza Townsend, executive director of the Maine Women’s Lobby and the Maine Women’s Policy Center.
The cost is $30 for general admission, $10 for students. Registration is available online.
