Bangor, July 22, 2022, This past weekend, Rudman Winchell attorney Allison Economy spoke at the American Bankruptcy Institute Northeast Conference in Rockport, Maine. She, along with five others, concluded the 4-day conference on Sunday with an exciting and interactive discussion of real-world ethical dilemmas arising in bankruptcy practice. This panel discussion, named simply “Ethics,” covered a multitude of topics, such as the “3 Cs” of bankruptcy law – confidentiality, communication, and competence. Other topics included information hygiene, duty to supervise, remote depositions and trials, judicial ethics, and practicing while working from home. Allison presented alongside four other talented women in the industry on pivotal topics facing bankruptcy and insolvency attorneys today.
