Bangor – An historic building in downtown Bangor is getting some maintenance work done as it celebrates its centennial anniversary.
The Graham Building on Harlow street was the first building built after the Great Bangor Fire of 1911.
A new sign is being installed. It is twenty seven feet long and will be located on the third floor.
Lawfirm Rudman Winchell began operations in the building in the 70’s.
Attorney Ed Bearor calls it an honor to work in a building of such prestige.
“This building is listed in the Bangor architectural history book that has been published because of its historic nature being built at the time of the fire,” he said.
The Graham Building was named after John R. Graham, the President of Bangor Railway and Electric Company.
