Rudman Winchell Hires Two Attorneys

Rudman Winchell, Counselors at Law in Bangor, Maine is pleased to announce that Michael J. Dostie
and Allison A. Economy are joining the firm as attorneys. Michael Dostie is a graduate of the University of

Maine and the University of North Dakota School of Law. He will join the
firm’s Workers’ Compensation practice group.

Allison Economy is a graduate of the University of Tennessee college of Law. She will join the firm’s Transactions and Business practice group as well as Litigation.

Michael J. Dostie was born in Augusta, Maine. He is a graduate of the University of Maine and the University Of North Dakota School Of Law. Michael
practiced law for five years in North Dakota, first as an Assistant Attorney General
and later as General Counsel for the Williams Trust Company and its chain of Williston
Cooperative Credit Unions. In 1986 he returned to Maine and joined the Bangor
law firm of Leen and Emery specializing in worker’s compensation law. Subsequently,
he was partner at Rella, Dostie and Tucker, and later an initiating partner at
Tucker and Dostie P.A . Most recently, he served as a policy writer for the
Department of Health and Human Services before joining Rudman and Winchell.

Michael is an avid sports fan who closely follows the Boston Red Sox, New
England Patriots and University of Maine football. Over the last two years, he
has enjoyed serving as a Volunteer for the Bangor Susan G. Komen Race for the
Cure. He is also a frequent contributor to the Bangor Ronald McDonald House.

Allison Economy was born in Dunstable, Massachusetts. She is a graduate of St. John’s University and
Tennessee College of Law. Her practice focuses on bankruptcy and creditors’
rights matters. She also has experience in litigation, commercial lending,
finance and real estate law. Allison represents creditors in work-outs and
bankruptcies. She also represents lenders in various commercial real estate and
asset-based financings. Allison has practiced with Stites & Harbison, PLLC in
Nashville, Tennessee since 2008. In 2013 she was recognized by Super Lawyers as
a Rising Star. Prior to entering law school, Allison interned for the Boston
Red Sox, the New York Yankees and the Commissioner of Major League Baseball.

Allison enjoys traveling, live music and attending sporting events.
